Update Tuesday 6th April

Due to the success of the vaccination program and reduction in COVID infection rate locally we would like to inform you we are now available for routine eye examinations. We will therefore resume sending out our reminders.
Please note due to the COVID restrictions, we are currently sending out reminders later than when originally due. We would therefore ask that you consider whether your eye exam may be overdue even if you haven't received a reminder. If you do feel an eye exam is required at this time then please contact the practice to book an appointment.
Although now available for urgent, essential, routine examinations and contact lenses we will continue to prioritize urgent and essential exams as per Welsh Government advice. We are however also available for any spectacle repairs or new spectacles as required.
We do however understand that some of you may feel anxious about attending for your appointment at this time and if you therefore deem it not appropriate for you to attend, please telephone or email for advice. Our Optometrists will be able to discuss this with you depending on your own personal risk factors to help make the best decision for you.
Please be reassured that the safety and well being of our staff and patients is our utmost priority and we maintain all necessary clinical procedures to ensure the highest clinical standards.In view of the above changes to procedures we do envisage a high volume of queries so would be grateful for your patience and understanding at this time.
