Eye Exams
At Davies and Lowry we offer fully comprehensive eye exams for all ages. We are very comfortable adapting our exams for all different ages to ensure the experience is relaxed and enjoyable.

The practice at Davies and Lowry is well equipped with the latest technology and we use state of the art testing charts, a visual field screener and a retinal imaging camera.

As optometrists and opticians, we are continually developing our skills to ensure our advice is up to date so we can give you the best service and experience.
Eye Health Examination Wales
All Optometrists at Davies&Lowry are accredited for the Eye Health Examination scheme funded by the Welsh Government. This entitles patients to an examination if they have an eye problem that needs urgent attention. Patients can self refer to the practice for this examination or can be referred by their GP or other medical practitioner.
There are other criteria for patients who are at a greater risk of sight loss who will also be entitled to eye examinations funded by Welsh Government and more information about this can be found here.

Low Vision Assessments
​
In Wales people who have a vision impairment will be able to access the Low Vision Service for more practical help including Low Vision Aids, advice and onward referrals to other agencies. At Davies&Lowry we have 3 Low Vision Accredited Optometrists and appointments are available on request.
